    Description

    Brute Dahlih CNC Knee Mill with Dynapath System 10 control. This is *****NON RUNNING MACHINE****
    GREAT MACHINE FOR CONTROL RETROFIT
    Heavy Duty knee mill.....not a light duty Bridgeport type
    BALL SCREWS , 5HP, NMTB 40 Spindle with air drawbar.  BIJOR Mister, and flood coolant.  30 x 17 travels
    Mechanically like new, machine built in 1986. Controls need repair or better yet Great machine for a retrofit. Machine was purchased from a local college in 1995 , where it was never used,  as the shop training program shut down the year after purchase. It has sat in my shop ever since taking up space and getting shuffled around the shop floor. There are some chips in the paint from the numerous times it has been moved. The machine was powered up for about for about an
    hour after I purchased it, but the quill servo motor overheated and burned up. A replacement servo motor was donated, but apparently the motor was NG.
    15 years ago I relocated my business, and the rigger dumped the cables and some Allen wrenches into the control cabinet which was open for repair( he told me about the cables, not the Allen wrenches) I proceeded to try to get the machine running and a Allen wrench which had fallen in the cabinet shorted out a board. It has sat ever since.  Machine has virtually no hours on it.  Some NMTB holders are also available.
