Description

The Mitutoyo 552 series Digimatic carbon fiber calipers are digital calipers made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRPs), and use Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE linear encoder technology.
Centerline, pointed inside diameter (ID) measuring, and attachment clamp accessories are available for expanded range of use.
These calipers have accessible function control buttons, such as Origin-set, Zero-setting, Presetting, Offsetting, Data Hold, Inch/Metric, and Data Output, and uses both inch and metric measuring systems. Although identical to dial and vernier calipers in its ability to make precise measurements, the digital caliper’s LCD increases reading reliability.
The Mitutoyo 552 series caliper has the ABSOLUTE electrostatic capacitance type linear encoder to help reduce overspeed errors.
